Infused water recipe for glowing skin!

Ready for an infused water recipe like no other? This radiance-boosting berry elixir requires a secret ingredient…lingonberries! Don’t know what a lingonberry is? Well, don’t feel bad because up until about 2 weeks ago I didn’t even know this berry existed. I learned about this superfood berry from my mom who has recently been creating unique artisanal jam recipes. She was telling me all about this new jam she made and all the special antioxidant-rich and nutritional properties. I got to thinking about my blog post where I talked about 6 different superfoods and elixirs that help boost skin health and thought okay these berries should have definitely been on that list. So while it may seem like a small inconvenience to go online or go to your local health food store to buy yourself these particular berries, trust me they are SO worth it.

Why lingonberries are great for our skin:

shop for frozen lingonberries online.

  • They are very high in powerful antioxidants called polyphenols. These reduce UV damage to tissues.

  • Lingonberries reduce inflammation in the body that causes redness or puffiness

  • They are high in vitamins C and E that both help protect skin and even complexion.

  • Lingonberries may also help reduce high blood pressure which in turn can give your skin a healthier tone.

Lingonberry infused water recipe:

What you’ll need-

  1. a water pitcher

  2. 32 ounces or more of distilled or spring water. Your infused water will last you up to 4 days so you can make however much you like.

  3. Frozen lingonberries. 1 cup or 8oz. When you purchase your frozen berries you will most likely get them in a quantity of 1-3lbs so you’re going to have extra. This is great because you can store them in your freezer to make more infused water when you’re finished drinking the first batch. You’ll be able to have this antioxidant elixir daily!
