Easy to reapply SPF - my product picks
I hope everyone is out there enjoying their summer! One important thing to remember when we are out and about at the beach, boating, picnicking, biking, etc. is that we need to reapply our SPF every 2 hours. I’ve had the pleasure of getting to have a little fun in the sun the past few weeks and I’ve been testing out sun protection products to share with all of you. Specifically, I wanted to find some options that would be easy for us to reapply every couple of hours when we are out and on the go. Here are some of my favorites.
Translucent powder SPF 20
This portable and easy to apply translucent facial powder has become one of my favorite products! The connected tube and applicator brush make it really easy to buff the translucent powder onto your face without needing a mirror. If I’m going to be outside on a sunny day I like to apply this over my facial moisturizer with SPF in the morning and then toss it in my bag so I can reapply every 1.5-2 hours.

I use their super serum tint SPF 40 when I’m wanting a medium coverage tint. This tinted SPF contains skin loving ingredients like hyaluronic acid, niacinamide, and squalane.
Bronzer SPF 30
At first, I was unsure of how easy this bronzing SPF would be for me to reapply when out and about because of the concentrated pigment. I tested it out on a daytime boat outing and ended up loving it! For days when you’re going makeup free it’s a great way to give your skin a radiant bronzy glow while getting in your sun protection. The texture of this product is easy to apply to your face & neck with your fingertips. This product would be great to bring on a beach vacation!
Mist SPF 50
This fragrance free SPF mist is really easy to reapply to face and body when you’re out and about for the day. With spray spf I always suggest spraying it liberally onto your face and body and then rubbing it in with your hands to ensure it’s covering all over. I really like this fragrance-free, 70+% organic formula from COOLA. A mist like this is one of the easier ways to get your SPF application; if you have someone in your group that doesn’t love to reapply their sun protection just toss them this mist.

Lightweight Liquid SPF 50
This is another great product to toss in your purse when you’re off to a sunny, day trip. This Neutrogena SPF 50 is a really lightweight liquid gel that absorbs quickly into the skin. I think this would be a good option for both oily, sensitive, and dry skin types. It’s also easy to apply to your skin without a mirror and can be layered with other facial spf if you like.
scrub me secret: if I’m feeling really extra when reapplying my sun protection I’ll apply this liquid spf, let it dry, and then buff my ILIA mineral powder over it. No sun damage for this skin!
Sun protection is THE MOST important part of skincare. It not only keeps for skin from showing early signs of aging but it also protects us from cancers caused by UV rays.
