I know so many of us are in a shopping mood this month! I just love to treat myself a little extra in December 😉 it’s well deserved after an accomplished year. I discovered a lot of new skincare items this year and also used a lot of items I know and love. I wanted to share some of my favorites with you so you can elevate your skincare routine before the year ends! These are 10 of my current favorite items under $50. Ology essentials CBD toner
My facial clients and I are OBSESSED with this toner. The CBD isolate in this hydrating toner reduces redness almost immediately and evens out complexion over time. This toner provides really amazing results for sensitive, dry, acneic, and breakout prone skin types.
Kalos Alpha Lyra AHA/BHA Cleanser
Looking for an effective exfoliating, decongesting, brightening cleanser? This is it! This cleanser has a nice gentle formulation of chemical exfoliants plus skin safe jojoba beads for some physical exfoliation. This is a great product to use 2-5x a week (depending on skin type) to keep pores clear, complexion even, and skin soft.
Josh Rosebrook Hydration Accelerator
I think we all can agree, it’s never a bad idea to have a good hydrating mist in your skincare routine. This aloe vera leaf juice based mist also includes nourishing plantbased oils like sea buckthorn, jojoba, marula, and more. This hydration accelerator makes skin feel super plump and soft! A very lightweight gel moisturizer with so many benefits! I’m a person with dry skin who loves all different kinds of facial moisturizers and this is one of my favorites. I often find myself recommending that my facial clients go purchase this product to add to their skincare routine. This gel-based moisturizer has calming, balancing, and skin strengthening properties. I recommend it for any skin type, even oily, acneic, and congested skin.
Osea atmosphere protection cream
This is the perfect moisturizer for daily application underneath your SPF or tinted SPF. I love this creamy, fresh smelling facial moisturizer because it makes my face feel super soft and provides extra protection for my skin using ingredients like seaweed and omega-rich oils. I find this to be great for aging, normal/dry, and dull skin types. I have been using this moisturizer for my own face for the past 6+ weeks.
PCA acne cream
An effective spot treatment for pimples can be a great thing to have waiting on standby in your collection of skincare products. This benzoyl peroxide based spot treatment kills bacteria that grows in your white head, growing pimple, or cystic breakout. I find that this spot treatment helps clear up breakouts pretty quickly without making the skin around the brekaout flaky and red. Another plus is that it comes in a little tube thats really easy to use.
BYBI Milk Melt
An oldie but a goodie! I have mentioned this BYBI milk melt cleanser in many other blog posts. But I can’t help that I love and use this creamy, calming cleanser so much. Sometimes a creamy cleanser can feel too thick and/or rich, but this one feels perfect. I love the minimal skin-safe ingredients and I feel like it works great for gently cleansing any skin type. A great cleanser is the first step to every skincare routine and this cleanser is 100% esthetician approved.
