SPF and Defense Mist Recommendations š¦
If you've read my blog post about air pollution and its damaging effects on our skin, you know the importance of using protective skincare products. If you didnāt get a chance to read it yet (I highly suggest it! Such an informative post) overarching theme of the information is that we need to protect our healthy skin cells and proteins against free radicals and debris from air pollution. And how do we do that exactly? With high-quality SPF and pollution defense mist items!
scrub me secret: years ago when I was trying to get my now-husband to up his game on his skincare routine, I gifted him a pollution defense mist product. I wanted to get him something that would be effective and easy to implement into his daily routine. Even though he hadnāt committed to the ever-important daily SPF yet, this mist gave his skin a little protection and helped him see the importance of daily care. He now has a full routine of cleanser, toner, eye cream, serums, moisturizer, SPF, and defense mist š
I AM NOT PAID BY ANY COMPANIES TO RECOMMEND OR TALK ABOUT SKINCARE PRODUCTS. ALL PRODUCTS I RECOMMEND ARE BECAUSE I PERSONALLY LIKE THEM AS AN ESTHETICIAN AND WOULD RECOMMEND THEM TO MY OWN CLIENTS.
(But if Credo Beauty wants to reach out for a collaboration I will be happy to consider š )
Esthetician-approved SPF:
This curated list of SPF recommendations contains safe and effective products for our skin and bodyās health!
scrub me secret: for my peers and clients who are in search of an SPF that works well for oily skin types, I often suggest a powder SPF for their face. SPF powders can provide your face with the protection it needs without adding any heavy or greasy feeling texture. They are also super easy to reapply which is key for the best protection. I really like the Jane Iredale powder SPF
My Defense Mist Recommendations:
A defense mist is a skincare product that we can all benefit from! A mist like this adds an extra layer of protection to shield our skin against environmental pollution and stressors.
