A Soothing & Moisturizing Facial - At Home Treatment!

scrub me secret blog notes:

Both the ‘toning’ and ‘balancing’ facial bars are great for cleansing your skin. If your skin is feeling particularly sensitive I suggest using the ‘balancing’ bar for this treatment.

My skin is a little sensitive in general but the small red bumps I get on my cheeks usually pop up when I’ve had processed sugars or a couple of cocktails. Read my blog “Inner Wellness Outer Beauty” to see how what we eat affects our skin.

A facial massage with my nourishing serum is an amazing way to get blood, oxygen, and lymph moving and circulating. You’ll want to massage in small circles or upwards motions to promote the lifting of the skin’s tissues. Even though skin looks a little redder after this massage it’s actually healthy flushing that will subside quickly.

The rosewater toner brand I like is called Heritage and can be purchased on Amazon.

Both the soothing mask and unscented whipped shea butter are made by me! I love love the soothing mask, it helps so much when my skin gets random redness. You can purchase both of these things on this site.

Cooling globes are great for any skin type! I purchased mine on amazon. These glass globes are kept in the freezer; I keep mine in a little bag so they stay clean. The coolness from these globes on your skin will help take away redness and make your skin look more even overall. They are even great for relieving forehead tension.

Finishing touches included the hydrating PCA spf I like to use and my new multipurpose balm on lips, lashes, and brows. I use the balm in my brows in the mornings because it helps them look more manicured and on my lashes in the evening so it can really sit on there and sink in.

let me know if you try this routine at home! I love to see everyone’s fresh, clear, and glowing skin.
